Public vs Private Leagues: Choose Your Battlefield
Public Leagues: Designed for the ultimate test of global supremacy. Join a league instantly with other passionate basketball fans from around the world. These leagues feature standard 9-category scoring rules, randomized snake drafts, and a universal trade deadline. It's the perfect environment for testing your skills, discovering new strategies, and proving your worth against completely unknown opponents who are just as hungry for victory as you are.
Private Leagues: Create a highly customized league exclusively for you and your closest friends, family, or coworkers. As the Commissioner of a private league, you possess absolute control over the league's destiny. You can meticulously dictate the exact draft date and time, define custom proprietary scoring rules and efficiency modifiers, adjust the size of the active roster and injured reserve spots, and set strict trade deadlines. Private leagues also feature integrated smack-talk chat rooms and custom trophy tracking.
Comprehensive Game Modes
1. Standard Season-Long (Total Points)
The classic, grueling format favored by traditionalists. In this mode, your primary objective is to accumulate the absolute highest number of fantasy points over the entire rigorous 82-game regular NBA season. Consistency, avoiding long-term injuries, and making shrewd waiver wire pickups early in the season are the absolute keys to victory here. There are no weekly matchups to worry about; every single point matters from opening night to the final buzzer of the season.
2. Head-to-Head (H2H) Points
Experience the thrill of direct confrontation. Match up against one specific rival manager in your league every single week. The team that scores the most cumulative points between Monday and Sunday earns a hard-fought Win (1-0), and the loser gets a devastating Loss (0-1). The top-seeded teams advance to a high-stakes, single-elimination playoff bracket during the final weeks of the NBA season. This mode demands meticulous daily roster management to maximize your games played each week.
3. Head-to-Head (H2H) Categories
The thinking person's fantasy format. Instead of calculating total cumulative points, you compete head-to-head across 9 standard statistical categories: Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, 3-Pointers Made, Field Goal Percentage, Free Throw Percentage, and Turnovers. Winning a category gives you one point. A typical weekly score might look like a narrow 5-4 victory or a blowout 8-1 win. You must build a highly balanced team or master the advanced "Punt Strategy" to dominate this format.
4. Daily / Weekly Blitz (DFS)
No season-long commitment required. In our Blitz format, you are provided with a hypothetical $100,000 salary cap. Your task is to draft the absolute best possible lineup for tonight's slate of games or this week's matchups without exceeding the cap. Star players cost significantly more than bench players. You must identify undervalued "sleeper" picks who are poised for a breakout game to surround your expensive superstars. Win instantly and draft a brand new team tomorrow.
